Wood Ducks or Carolina Ducks (Aix sponsa).

Mandarin Ducks (Aix galericulata) - a symbol of conjugal affection and fidelity. The drake is the one with the beautiful colored plumage. More photos than usual, but I think it's worth it.

Abandoned stray dogs roaming the city streets. Some are cleaned-up, neutered and marked, "adopted" by persons and then released back on the streets, others are not even caught in the first place.

My best guess these are freshwater turtles from the Trachemys Genus - Trachemys scripta (also known as the Pond Slider) or Chrysemys Genus - Chrysemys scripta elegans. If any one of you know better please leave a comment.
